WELCOME TO FRIDAY IRISH FISH FRY SATURDAY FUN FOR ALL Kick off St. Patrick’s Week! MARCH 12-13, 2021 FÁILTE WELCOME Presented by: the Carroll High School Parents, the Alumni Association, and the Carrolleer Band Boosters Welcome to Carroll’s 6 th Annual St. Pat’s Fest! What a year this has been! We never imagined that our last-minute changes in 2020 would need to repeat in 2021, changing our traditional Irish Fish Fry and Saturday Festival to a carryout two years in a row. This event, now in its sixth year, is typically a great weekend of fun for the entire Carroll family: past, present, and future! While many fish fry events will not occur this Lenten season, the Patriots are rising to the challenge to bring about a new twist to our traditional Irish festivities. Thank you for joining us as we kick off St. Patrick’s Week! Organized by Carroll High School Parents, the Alumni Association, and Carrolleer Band Boosters, our 2-day carryout event will give our community a chance to catch up with old friends while safely standing in a social-distanced line, listening to lively music performed by Jameson’s Folly Irish Band, or watching Dayton’s favorite Irish Dancers. As you walk towards picking up your delicious Icelandic Cod, Irish Stew, or Corned Beef, consider purchasing Buy it Now Baskets, Soft Pretzels, St. Pat’s Fest T-shirts, Raffle Tickets, Bars and Bells, or Leprechaun Land Loot Bags for children ages 2-10. When you arrive home, continue watching the weekend’s livestream entertainment, make bids on fabulous online silent auction items, and participate in the exciting Pot of Gold 50/50 Raffle! This is Carroll’s largest annual fundraiser, and it benefits every student in our school. Proceeds from this year’s event will go towards continued school improvements, student scholarships, and music program needs. I am truly grateful to the entire Carroll community, especially those parents, alumni, staff, and students who make this event such a huge success. These volunteers, who work so hard for the greater good, truly make Carroll a special place. It’s good to be Irish, and it’s a great day to be a Patriot! Matt Sableski '91 Principal of Carroll High School It’s Carroll’s BIGGEST fundraiser involving the entire Carroll community. We could not have done it without the Carroll High School alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and students who spent countless hours preparing for this event and are helping this weekend.
