Airport to venue by public transport: From the Hamburg Airport take the public transport (“HVV”). Tickets can be purchased from automated selling machines at bus and train stations. The “S-Bahn” (train) station "Hamburg Airport (Flughafen)" is located in the airport and can be reached quickly and easily via lifts, escalators and fixed stairs. The S-Bahn line S1 takes you every 10 minutes in approx. 25 minutes to “Hamburg Hauptbahnhof” (main station). At “Hamburg Hauptbahnhof” change the train and take the line S31 in the direction “Harburg Rathaus” or line S3 in the direction “Stade” (with both the travel time is around 16 minutes). Get out at the station “Harburg Rathaus” and walk along the “Eißendorfer Straße” to the main campus and “Dietze Hörsaal” in about 10 minutes. Airport to venue by taxi: Alternatively, you can take a regular taxi. The trip will take 30-40 minutes and will cost 50-60 €. Train station to venue: From “Hamburg Hauptbahnhof” (main station) follow the instructions given above.
