ComAGRI reaction to the Commission’s Reflection Paper on the Future of EU finances - COM(2017)358 Decision: Commissioner Oettinger will be invited for a debate on the financing of the PAC at a forthcoming ComAGRI meeting 4.3. Invitation of a representative of DG RTD to present “Food 2030” Decision: A representative of the Commission (DG RTD) will be invited to present its work on “Food 2030” at forthcoming ComAGRI meeting 4.4. Calendar of AGRI Committee Meetings in 2018 Decision: The calendar of ordinary AGRI Committee meetings in 2018 as laid out in Annex 2 is approved 4.5. Invitation of representatives of the Hungarian and German delegations to the Council ‘Agriculture and Fisheries’ to provide information on the ‘European Soya Declaration’ Decision: Representatives of the Hungarian and German delegations of the Council ‘Agriculture and Fisheries’ will be invited to a forthcoming ComAGRI meeting for an exchange views with Members and to provide information on the ‘European Soya Declaration’ 4.6. Inclusion of an AGRI representative in the EP delegation to the next WTO Ministerial Meeting in Buenos Aires Decision: Given the importance of this meeting from an agricultural policy perspective and the difficulty of obtaining a seat from political groups in the INTA delegation, the AGRI Committee will turn again towards President Tajani (and the Conference of Presidents) to secure the participation of the AGRI Chair “out of quota” (as an addition to the delegation as already composed) 4.9. Threat of US trade defence measures (anti- dumping and anti-subsidy) against Spanish black table olives Decision: Representatives of the Commission (DG TRADE and DG AGRI) will be invited at a forthcoming ComAGRI meeting to give a presentation on this issue and explain which actions are being taken to protect EU interests in this sector 4.12.
