The Summer Church “Nativity of Virgin Mary” was built during 1866-1872 in baroque style. The cathedral is the highest in Moldova – the middle dome reaching 57 m and being twin with the Synod “Saint Andrew the First Called” of Kyiv. • Transfer to Orheiul Vechi Visit of Orheiul Vechi region, visiting the unique cave monastery (13th cent.), carved in limestone rock - the part of the picturesque landscape. Continue your walk past the impressive The Potemkin Stairs, which was completed in 1841. You will then see Pushkin Monument. The poet spent a 13-month exile in Odessa.
