Blue Mosque Known officially as the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque, it was nicknamed the ‘Blue Mosque’ due to its distinguished blue and silver dome. It is the largest mosque in the country, and the second largest in Southeast Asia. Thean Hou Temple This temple is dedicated to the ‘Thean Hou’ goddess. The protector of fishermen and sailors, she is revered by the global Hainan community which has a strong seafaring tradition.
