Station Numbering Display of Station Numbers Railway line symbols and numbers have been assigned to make destinations and transfer stations more readily recognizable so that railway travel in Shikoku will be easier for everyone, including foreign visitors. Junction stations and other such locations where passengers need to transfer are marked with multiple numbers in light of the railway traffic system.
