This is why your LULAC National team is very proud to be serving you during the COVID-19 pandemic. We’ve seen the great courage, dedication and personal sacrifice of LULAC members in com- munities throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. They have been volunteering at food banks,I checking in on seniors isolated in their homes or staying in touch with students whose schools have closed. Every day, as we gather virtually from our remote home-oices in Washington, DC and El Paso, Texas, our number one priority is still to be the very best stewards of each program entrusted to LULAC by our partners. With that duty, comes a responsibility to ensure that the funding they provide goes directly into the programs we committed to delivering to help transform our commu- nities. We’re also thinking about how, year in and year out, tens of thousands of people’s lives are touched by WWW.LULAC.ORG | 5 LULAC’s core programs. It’s pretty special to know that our work as a team is supporting education, economic advancement, access to We work to housing, health, services for veterans “ and seniors as well as the rights of women to equity in the workplace amplify LULAC’s and our LGBTQ brothers and sisters. Also exciting is that we’re serving a voice, extend our great organization at a time when front and center are the decennial U.S. Census and our I Count 2020 / Yo reach and make a Cuento 2020 initiative and the all-im- portant Get-Out-The-Vote coalition campaigns throughout the United greater and lasting States leading up to elections.
