GLORY 13 IS HEADING BACK TO TOKYO! New York, NY – GLORY, the world’s premier kickboxing league, proudly announces its final event of the calendar year, Glory 13, featuring a televised one-night, Welterweight World Championship Tournament, taking place at the Ariake Colosseum in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday, December 21st. GLORY’s Welterweight World Championship Tournament will feature the top-ranked kickboxers at 77kg/170lb, including GLORY’s #1 Ranked Welterweight fighter, Nieky Holzken (82-11-0, 43 KOs) of the Netherlands. To emerge as the GLORY Welterweight World Champion, given the 4-man tournament structure, a combatant will need to fight and win two bouts in the same night. Local undercard fights are still to be announced. GLORY has conducted two other events in Japan in its two-year history and crowned a Heavyweight World Champion, Semmy Schilt at Glory 4, and Featherweight World Champion Yuta Kubo at Glory 8.
