Weapons and war” Reviewed 9 October 2015 This is a great museum if you are male, into war, like weapons of destruction etc. I had never seen it before, and as we were parked next to Clifford's Tower (it is is right opposite) my husband wanted to take a look. I tried to muster enthusiasm but it was not for me as just houses weapons and armour from various points in history, along with information. Specifically dealing with the Royal Dragoon Guards, and the Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire, the history covers about 300years. The staff, mostly volunteers, are enthusiastic and keen to help and chat. If you are into military history this is a great way to spend a coupled of hours. However, it is not just for men into war - It traces our social history, which sadly seems to involve almost perpetual conflict. I loved it for that reason, I am not the least bit militaristic but appreciate the horror and heroism humans arei capable.
