Knowledge of London Examinations Suburban Applicants - Stage 6 You are about to start the final stage in the Knowledge of London process to become a licensed suburban London taxi driver. Knowledge of Central London Now that you have demonstrated a satisfactory knowledge of your sector you are required to show that you have a good working knowledge of central London. Your Final Examination will take the following form: Part One You will be asked four questions which will allow you to demonstrate you have a detailed knowledge of routes into central London. Starting from a major rank in your sector, (ranks specific to each sector are listed below) each question will require you to describe the route to one of the major transport hubs listed below. From Sector 1: Tottenham Hale Station Sector 6: Wimbledon and Sutton Stations Sector 2: Stratford International Station Sector 7: Richmond and Kingston Stations and City Airport Sector 3: O2 Arena and Lewisham Sector 8: Haven Green taxi rank Station Sector 4: Bromley South Station Sector 9: Wembley Park taxi rank Sector 5: East Croydon Station To Cannon Street Station London Bridge Station Charing Cross Station Heathrow Airport (all terminals) City Airport (if outside your sector) Marylebone Station Euston Station Paddington Station Fenchurch Street Station St. Pancras Station (Eurostar) King’s Cross Station Victoria Station Liverpool Street. Station Waterloo Station To PASS this section you will need to answer ALL questions in a satisfactory fashion. Part Two You will be required to know ALL the points listed below. You will be asked 10 points from this list. When giving answers to questions you will need to know the exact locations of the points (i.e. the dropping off point as well as how to set down). To PASS this section you will need to give satisfactory answers to SIX out of the 10 points you have been asked. DSA Taxi Driving Test You should by now have applied for, if not taken, your DSA Taxi Driving Test. Please note that you will not be given date for you final examination until you have completed and passed this test and your pass certificate has been sent to us. It is in your own interest to complete this test as soon as possible. If you that have already passed this test you should, if you have not already done so, provide us with the pass certificate as soon as possible. Page 4 of 4 .
