Includes new southbound general purpose lane from Duke Street to Edsall Road and will provide $15 million annually for transit 66 Express Lanes Inside the Beltway Rush/peak direction only; revenues fund multimodal improvements to corridor 66 Express Lanes Outside the Beltway (Open 2022, I-66 Express Mobility Partners) Adds 22.5 miles from the Beltway to Route 29 in Gainesville, rebuilds major interchanges, adds 4,000 park-and-ride spaces and 11 miles of new trail Virginia Department of Transportation Construction Program Currently, 55 traditional and design-build construction projects worth a total of $768 million are under way in northern Virginia.
