However, due to the seasonal nature of agricultural commodities several products lose their value during the marketing process. These products are either sold at a very low price or considered as a production waste. This study was conducted to evaluate the production performance of Emerald Durian Palace, to identify the profit maximizing production quantity to decrease surplus-associated costs, and recommend strategies to increase sales. The current production of the company is at the optimal level, but it could still improve by 16% to attain maximum revenue. Results suggest that the company is also loosing 27% of its production associated with over-production wastes and not being able to meet the demand of the market.
