FOUNDATION 2018-19 NORTHERN STATE UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION ANNUAL REPORT Dear Friends, At the Northern State University Foundation, student success is the focus. We support students through scholarships and through key investments that enhance the student experience for current and future generations. These investments (scholarships and facilities) provide significant boosts to the economic development of Aberdeen, the northeast region and the entire state of South Dakota. Scholarships and facilities are also key to attracting new students to our region. We strive to maximize our dollars, while constantly looking to add donors to this report and add major gifts to the corpus of our endowment. This past year, with your help, we are proud to announce we have done both. Even with another successful year behind us, we are firmly and aggressively moving forward. Strategically, we are researching and examining every aspect of our operations – whether it is partnering with the university on the campus master plan and the $55 million Educational Impact Campaign, working on alternative investments, or continuing the expansion of our scholarship endowment. The leadership and dedication of our many friends and donors, the Foundation Board and Executive Committee, and the Educational Impact Campaign committee members have made it possible to focus on the future. We look forward to another year of unleashing the potential of the Foundation, the students we benefit and the campus of Northern State University.
