BRIEF DESCRIPTION PASNA O.S. SHOP MAYURBHANJ DISTRICT ODISHA Excise Department Govt of Odisha has granted/renewed the Sarubali O.S. Shop for producing country liquor with Still Deck Capacity of 1080 Ltrs. with 139 Quintal MGQ capacity Valid upto 31.03.2019. The license is granted in favour of Sri Baidyanath Mandal, S/o Minaketan Mandal At: Pasna , P.O: Bahalda, Dist: Mayurbhanj, Odisha The Pasna OS shop installed village Pasna in Jamda Tehsil of Mayurbhanj district. The Pasna O.S. shop install over Ac. 0.47 Dec or 0.190 Ha. area The Location of the project is 98 kms from Baripada the district head quarter and 282Kms from State head quarter Bhubaneswar. The project is situated adjacent to the Road joining Belposi-Pasna. The project area is bounded by Latitude 220 17’55.0”N Longitude 86 0 04’06.7” E and featured in SOI Toposheet No. 73 J/13 . Pasna village situated at a distance of 0.5 km from the project site The nearest National highway Keonjhar-Baripada NH 6 at a distance of 44 kms The nearest Railway Station at Bahalda Road at a distance of 18 kms Nearest water body is Village Pond 0.3 Km, , Balisudra Nadi 2.5 Kms NW, Kadkai River 2.5 Kms E, Kandria Nadi 5 Kms E, Kunu Nadi 6.5 Kms SE direction. Reserved Forest Burharina RF 8 Kms South West, Gamharia 8.0 Kms North East. No wildlife or archeological sensitive area exist within 5 kms of project site. The nearest education and health facility available at Sukruli distance of 2.7 kms . The production capacity of the O.S. shop is 1080 liters per day Employment Potential of the plant is 10 nos. The raw material of the project is Mahua flower, Water and Rice Husk The per day requirement of raw material are Mahua flower is 956 Kg , Water 6.0 KL and 829 kg of rice husk. The Mahua flower and rice husk procured from local market and water sourced from ground through well. Deck capacity is 1080 ltrs and 139 Quintal MGQ The process is Mahua flowers are putting in drums filled with water four days before it goes into brewing. After the bubbles are seen on the top of the drum, that drum of flowers is feet for further processing in the furnace and transferred to the brewing copper pot on the bottom. The brewing chamber has a hearth/furnace with one pot. The bucket placed near the furnace is connected to the brew which is situated in the middle of the chamber pot with a pipe. The process often takes three hours. The vapors cooled by cooling water tank and become liquid form. The liquid collected and packed as country liquor. A chimney of 15’ height installed in the furnace to control the air pollution The total quantity of 6.0 KL of water required for the plant sourced from well inside the plant premises. From the process 0.306 TDP of Mahua flower Residue and 0.254 TPD of husk ash generated as solid waste. Also 3.1 KL of waste water generated from the unit per day from cooling process. The waste water stored in settling tank for reuse in the plant The solid waste mahua flower residue used for organic manure and the husk ash for brick making. The green belt over Ac 0.16 dec has developed in the area The project cost is Rs. 10,00,000.00 .
