For the stationing of a mobile catering trailer and WC.. Dear Mr Banks , I am writing to STRONGLY SUPPORT this planning application. I have represented this area of the Till Valley since 1993 as both the Wiltshire County Councillor and Wiltshire Unitary Councillor in this time there has always been a mobile catering unit in this lay-by providing Hot Food and Drink in this case to a very high 5 star standard as approved by Wiltshire Council's own health and hygiene department plus a WC , the A360 road runs from North to South through our County carrying all sorts of traffic, one of the National Department of Transport sayings is "TIREDNESS KILLS TAKE A BREAK" what an ideal place to take a break. This excellent service is used by a varied range of people, nearby villagers, army personnel, passing lorry, van and car users, council workers, police, to name but a few I have seen them all in the lay-by, this lay-by is kept clean and tidy and has a WC provided. I have had many telephones calls from local people who support this small local business as indeed do Orcheston, Tilshead , and Shrewton Parish Council 's when I consulted them. Local produce Milk and Eggs are bought locally from Shrewton Dairy. The business operates from around 8am to 3-30pm five days a week at the end of each day the Mobile catering trailer is towed away and the lay-by left clean and tidy. As our recent telephone conversation if you were minded to refuse this planning application, I would wish it to be called to the Southern Area Committee for determination.
