Accessability to Maine's Conserved Lands with Public Access Atlas of Maine Blaise Foley '19 Environmental Studies Program Colby College Waterville, ME Spring 2018 This map presents data on conserved land with allowed public access and displays both state highways and the interstate Katahdin Woods and within the state of Maine. The largest 58 conserved areas Waters are labeled on the atlas throughout the state. The acronym National Monument WMA, stands for Wildlife Management Area. We used the NAD 1983 UTM Zone 19N datum and coordinate system and a Transverse Mercator projection to produce this map. Data we obtained came from the Maine Office of GIS.
