As the world’s most respected source for poultry science, this meeting is sure to be an excellent op- portunity to connect with friends and colleagues and take in the latest in poultry science . The entire meeting, except the barbecue, will be held at the fantastic Marriot Rivercenter . With over 600 abstracts and 10 symposia, it is going to be a full meeting . We are trying something new this year—a hybrid between a talk and a poster presentation . This session will have scientists from a variety of disci- plines sharing a quick summary of their work in a 4-minute presentation followed by a poster session . Be sure to check it out! Remember to get your tickets early for the barbecue . This event sells out every year, and this year is sure to be a stompin’ good time . Walk or take the bus to the San Antonio gem, Sunset Station, which has been pristinely renovated to honor the architectural legacy of the historic Southern Pacific Railroad depot terminal . Here you will have the opportunity to go 8 seconds on a mechanical bull, try some line dancing, or sit back and enjoy the music of the live band . The Board of Directors sincerely thanks all of our sponsors and is grateful for their gener- ous support . Sponsorship is vital to delivering a quality meeting that is affordable for all attendees . As you interact throughout the meeting, please take a moment to personally thank the company representatives of each of our sponsors . We extend our appreciation to the PSA leadership and staff, Executive Director Steve Koenig, Director of Business Operations Jon Cole, and Managing Editor and Commu- nications Director David Busboom, for their hard work and oversight in organizing and coordinating our meeting . Thanks are extended to Debi Seymour as well, who again leads the FASS meeting planning team and continues to provide excellent services to our annual meeting . Welcome to San Antonio, and we wish you an outstanding week at the 107th annual meeting of the Poultry Science Association! Valerie L .
