Photo: Matthew Murphy From the Managing Director YOU CAN STILL “SEE IT LIVE” ON STAGE AT THE EISEMANN CENTER! The Eisemann Center Presents 2016-17 Season still has plenty to celebrate in 2017. The outstanding shows we announced last spring, many which have already taken place, continue with a diverse line-up you will want to experience. UPDATE ON KEYBOARD CONVERSATIONS® 30TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON This past fall, due to an injury sustained by our dear friend, pianist Jeffrey Siegel, the first two Keyboard Conversations® concerts had to be postponed. We’re happy to say that Mr. Siegel is doing well and has started con- certizing again. We were able to find new dates for Fiesta! The Glorious Music of Spain and Argentina, now on March 28 and The Genius of Chopin, is now on February 20, so the entire series of four concerts is still intact. The reception planned in October 2016, will now take place following the last concert, Virtuoso Variations on April 17. Better yet, it is still possible for any of you who have not previously subscribed to subscribe to the full series – check it out! (See page 7). TRAVIS WALL’S SHAPING SOUND: AFTER THE CURTAIN On June 8, the Eisemann Center will present Travis Wall’s Shaping Sound: After the Curtain. This dynamic company features contemporary dancers, many of whom rose to fame on “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Dancing With The Stars.” You will find additional details for this high energy program on page 12. CHITA & TUNE: TWO FOR THE ROAD – Eisemann Center’s 15th Anniversary Celebration On Friday, September 22, we will celebrate the Eisemann Center’s 15th Anniversary with this very special program starring two Broadway legends, Chita Rivera and Texas’ own Tommy Tune. Collectively they have won 12 Tony Awards and will most certainly dazzle our audience on this very special occasion (See page 13). We strive to provide value in the programming, the artists and the experiences that Eisemann Center Presents brings to Richardson and North Texas. And, through our pricing and the discount packages we offer, we are able to make our shows accessible for all. Please take time to review our programs outlined on the pages that follow. I hope to see you often. Join us – and see it live! Bruce C.
