(Pavilion Shopping Centre is on the left). • Continue down Spine Road (past Westville Hospital), which becomes Rick Turner Road (formerly Francois). • Continue and turn right into Sydney Road. • Turn right into Farimond. • At robot, turn right into Umbilo Road (one way) and continue straight. • Pass Glastonbury Place on your right. Turn right into the entrance of the Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine. At the boom gates turn left. The CAPRISA offices are located on the 2nd floor of the DDMRI building (entrance from the K-RITH Tower Building). FROM KING SHAKA AIRPORT/NORTH DURBAN • From the airport follow the signs to N2/Port Shepstone • Continue straight on past EB Cloete Interchange (Spaghetti Junction)/N3 (Durban &Johannesburg/Pietermaritzburg • Keep to the left and turn off at the Queensburg/Edwin Swales off ramp • Turn left and proceed on Edwin Swales Road • Pass two sets of robots • Then take City/Umbilo/Bayhead off ramp on your left • Flow into Umbilo Road towards the city, pass two traffic lights • At the third traffic light (Glastonbury Road on your right) continue straight for a few metres. • The Umbilo Road entrance to the medical school is about 100 metres from the Glastonbury Road turnoff. FROM SOUTH DURBAN • Follow the signs to N2 Durban. • Take exit 151 to merge onto M4 toward Durban. • Exit onto Pinedene Rd. • Turn right onto R102. • Take the 2nd left onto Solomon Mahlangu Drive/R102. • Slight left onto the ramp to Umbilo Rd/R102 • Pass Glastonbury Place on your right. Turn right into the entrance of the Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine. At the boom gates turn left.
