Potter 0asp are solitary 0asp 0hich is mainly feed on nectar but the ir offspring are carnivorous the y mostly feed on pest insect like beetle larvae , caterpillar. Adult 0asp paralyCing pest insect and place in to the nest to serve as a food for their offspring this character making 0asp valuable in horticulture for biological pest control. In pre sent 0ork comprehensive survey 0as done during the year 2013-2015 for e1plore these beneficial creatures, si1 species of potte r 0asp belong to three genera are recorded. 3our 0asp species from the genus .elta, .elta pyriforme pyriforme (3abricius, 1775) .elta conoideum (Hmelin, 1720).elta esuriens(3abricius, 17.7) .eltadimidiatipenne (de Saussure, 1.52), one species from genus Rhynchium, Rhynchium brunneum (3abricius, 1723) and one species from genus Nenorhynchium,Nenorhynchium nitidulum (3abricius, 172.) from the sub family ,umeninae of the family Vespidae are recorded from the koradi region state Maharashtra, India 3ey words- Vespidae, ,umeninae, potter 0asp, mason 0asp, beneficial insect Introduction remaining abdominal segments yello0.
