Florida Postal History Journal Index to Volumes 1 - 21, 1993 - 2014 The Florida Postal History Society was established in 1978, but eventually died out from a lack of interest. The Society was restarted in 1991 and formally organized in 1992. The first issue of the Florida Postal History Journal was published in July 1993. While there were three issues during the first two years (1993-1994), there were two issues for the next seven years (1995-2001), and then three issues per year. David G. Phillips was editor for the first two issues and Deane R. Briggs has been editor since the third issue. Dr. Everett Parker has been Co-Editor. Regional editors have included Niles Schuh, Herbert P. McNeal, Ted Light, and David Lingard. Beginning with volume 15 in 2008 the Journal has been printed in color. With volume 19 in 2012 the Journal format changed to 8.5 x 11. It should be noted that for 1995, volume 2 issues were numbered 3-4 but are the only two issues for that year. Vernon N.
