The theme of skit was to show the Importance of a teacher in a student’s life.The skit included act, dance,poem and songs which were performed by the members of Art Circle. LIVE WEDNESDAY MAGIC On specific occasions there is importance for specific colour,Art Circle announced the colour that symbolizes a particular occasion and the students would follow that colour as dress colour code onupcoming Wednesday after the occasion.The different colours that Art Circle announced for this semester were:: YELLOW, BLUE and WHITE [Back to Index] 11 [CPDC CELL ] (Communication and Personality Development Cell) SEMINAR ON SUCCESS MANTRA A seminar on Success Mantra was organized by the CPD cell on 3rd August 15 for first three toppers of University Exam. The seminar was conducted by Prof. Meera Natrajan. The seminar highlighted the role of subconscious mind. It brought upon the students the need to train the subconscious mind to approach towards success step by step. SEMINAR ON EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE A seminar on Emotional intelligence was organized by the CPD cell on 14th August 2015. The seminar was conducted by Mr.Swapnil Pande. The seminar highlighted the need and importance of emotional intelligence in the corporate sector and day to day life. The students were made to realize the fact that Intelligence Quotient had no relation with one’s Emotional Intelligence and that people with high IQs may in fact have a low EI. The seminar brought upon the students the importance of being emotionally fit. [Back to Index] 12 SEMINAR ON LEADERSHIP SKILLS,BUSINESS ETIQUETTES AND CORPORATE GROOMING The CPD Cell organized a seminar on ‘Leadership Skills, Business etiquettes and corporate grooming’ on 24th August 2015 .The seminar was conducted by Mr. Vikram Chandgude. The seminar started with a basic introduction to the basic qualities that should be present in a leader, various points and methodologies that make successful leaders . [Back to Index] 13 HIGHER STUDIES CELL Awareness session for CAT and GRE. On 19th August 2015, a seminar on guidance for entrance exams like GRE, CAT was conducted under Higher Studies Cell. The speaker for the seminar was Mr. Anvesh. Throughout the session, he guided the students for preparation of GRE exam and CAT exam. Guidance on IAS/IPS/MPSC for Engineering Graduate. An eminent Speaker Mr. Manohar Bhole gave some guidance on preparations for competitive exams like UPSC/MPSC on 4th September 2015. He started by giving some examples on the attitude and approach while preparing for various competitive exams especially for UPSC/MPSC. [Back to Index] 15 INSTITUTIONAL SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY CELL DONATION OF OLD CLOTHES On 10th September 2015 , the cell conducted cloth donation camp in college. Many students donated their old clothes which were then given to the needy and poor boys.This noble cause was done under the guidance of Mr.Nikhil (Mechanical Department). CLEANING DRIVE AT GHORADESHWAR On 12th September 2015, the cell conducted cleanliness drive at Ghoradeshwar which is near Talegaon. Around 40 students and cell incharge participated in this drive.Students cleaned nearby area of Ghoradeshwar. BLOOD DONATION CAMP On 15th September 2015. (Engineer's day) the cell conducted blood donation camp. There was a huge response for this camp. Around 400 people have donated their blood in this camp. [Back to Index] 16 NIRMALYA COLLECTION On 23 September 2015, NSS cell went to Ganesh Talav (Pradhikaran) where Ganesh Visarjan usually takes place.Students collected all nirmalya (garbage) which is mainly responsible for water pollution in these days.
