Professor Veezhinathan Kamakoti is a well-known academician who is advising Government of India on various IT policies and R&D programmes of MeitY. He is also a member of National Security Advisory Board (NSAB), Government of India.
He is a Professor at Department of Computer Science & Engineering, IIT Madras. His areas of interests include Computer Architecture, Secure Systems Engineering and VLSI Design. He completed BE in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Madras followed by MS (By research) and PhD at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
