Listen Technologies’ relationship with our partners is one of our most valued assets. The use of Listen-branded materials and our logo is a symbol of our commitment to work in-sync with our partners to deliver products and solutions that build customer value.

Listen Technologies brand and branding materials includes logos, product family names, product names, images, website content, social media content, printed and electronic assets, marketing collateral, white papers, and all other assets created by the Listen team. All assets are important to the company and are protected by various intellectual property laws in the U.S. and worldwide.

The Partner Marketing Standards outlines specific details in regards to branding, URL management, logo and logo placement, and assets/collateral. It is intended to express our partnership in a clear and consistent manner, as well as a supplement to our brand guidelines, which can be accessed in the Partner Portal.

In addition to using these guidelines, you can contact [email protected] for specific questions or clarification.

3 CO-BRANDING & BRAND POSITIONING

Listen Technologies is the trusted authority for wireless audio and communication solutions. Our brand is synonymous with expertise, innovation, and delivering exceptional listening experiences. To accomplish this, we must be vigilant about sharing our expertise and passion for delivering innovative solutions that:

• Overcome the challenges associated with difficult hearing environments

5 LOGO & PLACEMENT

Spacing In order to display the logo for maximum impact, a standard clear space surrounding the logo should always be used. No other graphics or text should encroach on the space surrounding the logo. The clear space is defined by the x-height of letterforms in the word Listen within the logo, demonstrated to the left with an E.

Minimum Sizes To preserve visibility, the logo should not be displayed any smaller than 9mm in print. The minimum size would be used in areas where space is limited. For example, the minimum size would be used on our products. Ideally, the logo should be larger, if possible.

2.5 cm (1 in) Smallest size at which “technologies” is used in print or digital format.

When displayed below a print size 2.5 cm (1 in), the logo should drop the word “technologies” from the bottom line, as shown to the left.

6 LOGO & PLACEMENT

As the identifying mark of the company, the logo should never be distorted from its original design. In each brand collateral application, the logo should maintain its original appearance. Never try to recreate the logo yourself. Always use the approved image or vector files provided by the company.

Listen Technologies encourages our partners to include their logo on all custom collateral and assets, the Listen Technologies logo should always be placed on the right side of the page with our partner logo on the left. Both the Listen logo and partner logo should be the same size, when possible, to achieve continuity and represent a true partnership.

Partner Portal As part of our ongoing support for our partners we have created a partner portal for easy access to all Listen branded tools, presentations, price lists and other sales support items. 8 URL MANAGEMENT

Locally branded domain names can increase brand awareness and website address recall, increasing search engine results. In addition, local search engines display only locally relevant information and content by filtering the search results to include country-specific domains only.

URL Purchase and Management In the event our partner wants to use a country-specific URL we request they work with us to obtain it. If the URL is already owned, it will be relinquished upon termination of our distribution agreement, Listen Technologies will pay for the URL at the price it was originally purchased. For brand consistency, Listen Technologies has final approval before a website is published. Additionally, the site must clearly state that it is not an official Listen Technologies website, but rather managed by our partner for that specific region.

Suggested language, “Website managed by XYZ, a Listen Technologies’ trusted partner and distributor for the XYZ region”, or “ListenTALK officially represented by XYZ, in the XYZ region”.

See the distributor agreement for more details.

As our trusted partner, when a URL is purchased it is your responsibility to set up and maintain the website with support and approval from Listen Technologies. Because of the complexity of our website we cannot clone or copy, but rather, will supply imagery and content if needed.

9 VISUAL BRANDING OPTIONS

Listen Technologies takes pride in creating assets and support materials that represent our company values and vision. We make every effort to create tools that can be used universally across all markets, industries and regions. In the event our partners choose to create their own tools and assets, we request to be notified as well as reserve the right of final approval before publishing any materials using the Listen logo or other brand assets such as product line logos, product names, images etc.

Marketing Collateral and Assets Listen Product line brochures, product line videos, and other materials used for brand recognition are corporate assets; Listen Technologies contact information will not be removed or altered in any way. If a custom brochure or marketing piece is required, please contact the marketing team at [email protected] to discuss.

10 VISUAL BRANDING OPTIONS

Graphics and Images Images are a universal way to tell stories and communicate quickly and effectively. Our imagery can be classified into four categories:

• People • Application • Product • Venue

All of these image categories tell stories about how our products and services benefit and enrich the experiences and lives of our customers. Our images should break out of the ordinary or expected types of imagery found in the industry. This style is best achieved by using professional photography, as well as interesting crop, blur, and angle effects.

People images show who our customers are and connect to the human side of our business. They do not necessarily show the subject using an assistive listening device. The subjects of these images should vary in age, gender, and race.

Application images show customers using our products in challenging hearing environments. These images convey the emotional aspect of the experience of using our products.

Product images display the features of the product itself. We prefer imagery that hones in on the line, shape, and important features of the physical product in a unique and interesting way.

Venue images show environments where our products are or could be used and may also feature the product in that environment.

Note, to determine the suitable image size to use in a specific application, you need to know that image’s pixel density. Most images are either 72 dpi (dots per inch) which is common for web applications or 300 dpi which is common for print applications. For specific information regarding minimum size recommendations, contact [email protected].

Assisted Listening is not as recognized, but we believe it to be a more general phrase that applies to all technologies that assist in the experience of hearing, from radio frequency products used during a church service to tour equipment used in a loud factory.
