SEATTLE, North Corridor Transit Project Alternatives Analysis

Extending from Northgate to Lynnwood, Washington

The North Corridor Transit Project, now known as the Minimum WSDOT Highway Area , will extend regional transit 94’ Pavement Area service north from Northgate in to Lynnwood, 84’ 10’ approximately 8.5 miles. The project is part of the Sound ITS, Signal, Transit 2 Plan approved by voters in 2008 to add regional BBarriers bus and commuter rail service and build 36 additional miles of light rail. Though voters approved light rail, Sound I-5 NORTHBOUND LANES 28’-35’ Transit will still need federal funding to complete the Light Rail Area project.
