Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed

Following a post-session investigation by the Race Director and an admission by Car 35, , of a breach of Schedule B2, Article 2.1.1 – Careless Driving, impeding Car 17, Scott McLaughlin at Turn 13, the Stewards imposed the penalty of the loss of 3 Grid Spots on Car 35, Garry Jacobson (to be served progressively).

Following a Stewards Hearing and a finding by the Stewards that Car 9, David Reynolds was in breach of Schedule B2, Article 2.1.1 – Careless Driving, impeding Car 7, at Turn 11, the Stewards imposed the penalty of the loss of 2 Grid Spots on Car 9, David Reynolds, for Race 24.

Matters from Race 23:

Race Director Incident Determinations

During the Race, the Race Director and the DSA reviewed the Incident involving Cars 15, 25, 9 and 2 and determined the Incident did not warrant referral to the Stewards as no driver was wholly or predominately to blame for the Incident.

Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed During the Race, the Stewards imposed a 15 second Time Penalty on Car 14, , for a breach of Rule C15.5.2 (the Control ECU has an in-built Pit Lane speed limiter, which must be activated at all times while a Car is moving in Pit Lane).

Matters from Race 24:

Race Director Incident Determinations

During the Race the Race Director and the DSA reviewed the Incident involving Cars 97, 6 and 8 at Turn 12 and determined the Incident did not warrant referral to the Stewards as no driver was wholly or predominately to blame for the Incident.

After the Race and following requests for investigations, the Race Director investigated the following Incidents and determined that they did not warrant referral to the Stewards as there was insufficient evidence to establish a breach of the Rules:

• A request from alleging that Car 12, , passed Car 55, , under Safety Car conditions. • A request from alleging the Car 20, , made contact with Car 14, Todd Hazelwood, at Turn 11 on Lap 39.

The Race Director conducted the following post-race investigations into the following Incidents and determined that there was no breach of the rules:

• The Incident involving contact between Car 35 and Car 3 on Lap 3. • The Incident involving Car 8 and Car 99 at Turn 12 on Lap 25.

Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed The Stewards conducted a Hearing into a radio communication from the Team Engineer to the Driver of Car 99 during the Race and decided that the communication did not amount to a breach of the Rules in the circumstances.
