How to Recite the United Hearts Chaplet How to say the Chaplet of the United Hearts There are 20 beads, five sets each of one (1) Our Father and three (3) Hail Mary's. 1. IN HONOR OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS Meditation: "I invite My children to realize the profound depth and perfection that comprises My Beloved Son’s Heart. Allow yourselves to be drawn into this Vessel of perfect Love, Mercy, and Truth. Let the Flame of His Heart consume you and bring you to the heights of union with the Holy Trinity. To Him all honor and glory!" "Jesus, bestow on My children a hunger for salvation through devotion to Your Most Sacred Heart." (BVM:2/7/98) Our Father... Hail Mary... Hail Mary... Hail Mary... 2. IN HONOR OF THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY Meditation: "Immaculate Heart of Mary, You are the purest vessel of grace, the definition of holiness, and a sign of the apocalypse. Mary, Your Heart is a Refuge of Holy Love - a counter sign in an evil age." "Dear Heart of Mary, it has been ordained that the conversion and peace of the world be entrusted to You. Only through Holy Love can the battle be won. As you, Heart of Mary, have been pierced by many swords, impale our hearts with the flaming arrow of Holy Love." "Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us." He died for each one and for all. From His side flows, yet today, an unending font of Love and Mercy. Do not be reluctant, as Simon was reluctant, to embrace the crosses you are given. Many suffer the eternal flames of hell, for no one has been willing to suffer for them." "Eternal Victim, truly present in the tabernacles of the world, pray for us." (BVM:4/4/98) Our Father... Hail Mary... Hail Mary... Hail Mary... 4. MEDITATING ON THE SORROWS OF MARY Meditation: "As My Son suffered for you, I suffered as well, in My intellect, in My heart, and in My body. My physical cross remained hidden. My emotional and intellectual crosses could only be guessed at – the intensity burning within Me. So too, should your suffering remain hidden, whenever possible, to gain merit for souls, grace for the world." (BVM: 5/2/98) Our Father... Hail Mary... Hail Mary... Hail Mary... 5. IN ATONEMENT TO THE HEARTS OF JESUS & MARY Meditation: "I invite you to understand that your ‘yes’ in the present moment to Holy Love is atoning to Our United Hearts. I tell you this, My little one, for to live in Holy Love in every moment requires heroic self-discipline and surrender to God’s Divine Will through Holy Love." "You can sacrifice many great things - possessions, events, and more - but none so great as your own will. This is the greatest atonement." (BVM:6/6/98) Our Father... Hail Mary... Hail Mary... Hail Mary... At the end say the Prayer to the United Hearts of Jesus & Mary. PRAYER TO THE UNITED HEARTS OF JESUS AND MARY O United Hearts of Jesus and Mary, You are all grace, all mercy, all love. Let my heart be joined to Yours, so that my every need is present in Your United Hearts. Most especially, shed Your grace upon this particular need (pause and state need). Help me to recognize and accept Your loving will in my life. Amen. Holy and Sacred Wounds of the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary answer my prayer. HISTORY OF THE CHAPLET OF THE TWO HEARTS March 9, 1991 From Jesus and Mary Our Lord says: "This is the sign of the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary." Today Our Lady said: "Soon you will be given a very powerful prayer to the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary. It will be a prayer of petition and many favors will be granted through this intercession." March 10, 1991 From the Blessed Virgin Mary Prayer to the United Hearts Oh, United Hearts of Jesus and Mary, You are all grace, all mercy, all love. Let my heart be joinedwith Yours so that my every need is present in Your United Hearts. Most especially shed Your grace upon this particular need (pause and state need). Help me to recognize and accept Your loving will in my life. Amen. March 11, 1991 From the Blessed Virgin Mary Before communion I saw the Cure D'Ars standing by the altar. He was holding a large gold plaque; a replica of the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary. He said, "This symbol will strengthen and protect vocations." Next, I saw a small Rosary or chaplet form on the left of the altar. I was shown a set of 1 Our Father and 3 Hail Mary beads. Then another, and another until there were five in all. The medal was the Sacred Heart on one side, the Immaculate Heart on the other. Then, I was told each set should be prayed for a certain intention. 1. In honor of The Sacred Heart 2. In honor of the Immaculate Heart 3. Meditate on The Passion of Christ 4. Meditate on The Sorrows of Mary 5. Pray in Atonement to both Hearts On the medal, I was told to say the prayer to the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary. March 11, 1991 From the Blessed Virgin Mary Our Lady came holding a big torch. It was on a long pole. In Her other hand She was holding the small chaplet of beads I saw earlier. She said, "I want you to enkindle in hearts around the world devotion to Our United Hearts. It is purposefully simple to say, but long on meaning. Many favors will be granted through this prayer." "When you pray, pray for lasting peace around the world. This is My prayer. In turn, I will pray for all your intentions." Then, Our Lady blessed us and left. Please read Ephesians, Chapter 2 vs. 19-22. October 26, 1991 From the Blessed Virgin Mary "I have obtained from My Beloved Son a special grace, souls who recite the Chaplet of the Two Hearts prior to receiving His Real Presence will receive special grace. They will be closer to Jesus. Make it known." March 15, 1996 JESUS Jesus appeared in front of me with His Heart exposed. Inside His Heart was Mary's Immaculate Heart. He said: "I desire the devotion to the United Hearts be propagated. Satan opposes this Image, for he sees in it a power he cannot vanquish. My provision is upon those who venerate this Image, contemplating its meaning. In the United Hearts is the embodiment of the meaning Co-Redemptrix." March 17, 1996 "Let them know that veneration and meditation upon the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary brings God's fullest provision to their midst. It will be important to have this Image in a prominent place at our new site so that My children can pray in front of it. Make it known." March 21, 1996 Weekly Rosary Service Our Lady is here in gray. She says: "Pray with me now for those who will come in pilgrimage to our prayer site." We prayed. "Dear children, I desire that you surrender the present moment to the Will of God which is always Holy Love. Allow Holy Love to illuminate your souls so that every iniquity is laid bare. In this way, the path of holiness is enlightened through My grace of Holy Love." Jesus is now standing to the right of Blessed Mother. They both have their Hearts exposed. Blessed Mother now says: "Tonight, for the first time, We send upon earth Our Blessing of the United Hearts." March 22, 1996 JESUS "I am very glad you have returned (to adoration). I have long desired to share with you what I am about to say. For all time, I have wished to bestow this Blessing of the United Hearts, but it has been reserved for these times and to begin here in this mission. I will bestow it liberally upon those who attend the rosary service. It will gratify the most distant heart and bring them closer to Me. 1. It will strengthen spiritually and often physically. I will be coming quite often now with My Mother. 2. This Blessing of Our United Hearts is preparing mankind for My Second Coming. 3. I have much more to tell you. I will withhold this until another time." March 23, 1996 JESUS "I welcome you once again. I have been waiting for you. I desire to inform everyone about this blessing. Instruct My missionaries to have an information leaflet printed with what I will give you concerning it. I will bestow this blessing liberally, but it cannot be passed from person to person as can My Mother's Special Blessing. My Mother will not give this blessing alone but only with Me by Her side. 4. The blessing carries with it special graces of healing -- both spiritual and physical. The blessing comes directly from Me in spiritual union with My Mother. 5. It will be a deterrent to Satan and bring with it disclosure of evil in hearts and in the world. It will draw everyone who receives it to a devotion of Our United Hearts." "I tell you these things not in confidence but to be made known. As with any grace, it is a cooperation between man and God." March 24, 1996 JESUS "I am speaking to you concerning Our United Hearts for the sake of My Mother's humility which precludes Her from addressing so great an honor.

    FATHER MARK SCHULTE HOMILY Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time (B) June 13, 2021 “Sacred Heart – Immaculate Heart” In recent days, the Church has celebrated two very important Feast days, the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We know that the heart is the seat of love. When you give someone your heart you give them your love, you give them the most intimate and sacred part of you. For Jesus, his greatest act of love was His passion and death for us. As He hung on the cross, the soldier’s lance pierced His side and into His heart and out flowed blood and water. The water to cleanse us of sin in baptism and His blood to nourish us sacramentally. For these and other reasons, the church and the faithful venerate the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is the very heart of God (CCC 478, 694, 1225) (Jn 19:34). Closely associated with the Sacred Heart of Jesus is the Immaculate Heart of His Mother Mary. The flesh of the heart of Jesus comes from her flesh. The suffering of Mary is intimately related to the suffering of Jesus. The prophecy of Simeon is fulfilled in her suffering. He said: “A sword will pierce your heart”. Her sword of suffering is her sorrow, in witnessing the suffering of her son Jesus. She contemplated from early on that the life of her son would consist in suffering for His people (Lk 2:22-39, 51). Mary united her intense suffering with the suffering of her Son Jesus.

    1 Introduction The following introduction to the practice of the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the home is compiled from excerpts of Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke’s book on the devotion, The Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus: The Center of Devotion to the Sacred Heart The center of devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus is the Enthronement of an image of the Sacred Heart in the home. The Enthroned image of the Sacred Heart, which may be a picture or a statue, expresses Christ’s true Kingship, daily reminding each member of the family to follow in His royal way by making reparation for sins committed and by striving to serve God and neighbor more lovingly. By the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart, we link the tabernacle of our parish church to our home, inviting Our Lord to be our constant and most intimate Companion. The Enthronement is a way of life. It means that Christ is King of our hearts, and that we desire Him to be present with us always. By the Enthronement, we signify our desire to make our hearts and our homes holy, to sanctify our lives in every aspect. The Enthronement and the Transformation of Society The practice of the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the home was begun by Father Mateo Crawley-Boevey, SS.CC (1875-1961), the great Apostle of the Enthronement… Father Crawley-Boevey insisted on the official and social recognition of the rule of the Sacred Heart of Jesus over the Christian Family.

    Mary's Immaculate Heart Whenever we speak of the human "heart," we commonly say things like "What's on your heart?" or "That really touched my heart" or "I can tell that what you wrote came straight from the heart." In all of these ways we are speaking of the heart as a symbol of the deepest mystery of a person: what a person, deep down, really thinks, feels, and desires. The Catechism of the Catholic Church tells us in entry 2563: The heart is our hidden center, beyond the grasp of our reason and of others; only the Spirit of God can fathom the human heart and know it fully. When we speak of the "Heart of Jesus," therefore, we are referring to the deepest mystery of His person: the unfathomable love of the divine Son of God Incarnate for His heavenly Father and for us. In the book Jesus, Mercy Incarnate Dr. Robert Stackpole wright: According to the Bible, some people are cold-hearted or hard-hearted; they have hearts of "stone" (e.g. Ezek 11:19). The mystery of the Heart of Jesus, however, has been revealed to us through the Gospels and beautifully expressed in His apparitions to St. Margaret Mary. Whatever we may say about other human hearts, this person, Jesus of Nazareth, has a heart that is aflame with love: love for His heavenly Father and love for us. That is why He showed His physical Heart to St. Margaret Mary as flaming with fire, surmounted by a cross, and pierced and surrounded by thorns.

    The Immaculate Heart of Mary in the Theology of Reparation Arthur Burton Calkins I. Introduction One can never speak of the Immaculate Heart of Mary without direct reference to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus because these two persons, one divine and one human, of whom their Two Hearts are symbols, were from all eternity united in the mind of God. Blessed Pope Pius IX declared this solemnly in the Bull Ineffabilis Deus in which he proclaimed the dogma of the Immaculate Conception when he stated that God by one and the same decree, had established the origin of Mary and the Incarnation of Divine Wisdom [ad illius Virginis primordia transferre, quæ uno eodemque decreto cum divinæ Sapientiæ incarnatione fuerant præstituta.]1 Precisely because these two persons are not equal we cannot speak of them in exactly the same way and yet they are not entirely different. Thus, we must speak of them in terms of the principal of analogy or “likeness in difference” and then the analogy between the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I trust that this necessary preliminary treatment will prove to be of value in the end. II. The Principal of Analogy Analogy, in the classical sense in which this term is used by St. Thomas Aquinas and his followers, denotes “a kind of predication midway between univocation and equivocation.” 2 Here is the Angelic Doctor’s own description of what he meant by analogous predication: It is evident that terms which are used in this way [i.e. analogically] are intermediate between univocal and equivocal terms.

    The Miraculous Medal The Miraculous Medal, also known as the Medal of the Immaculate Conception, is a medal created by Saint Catherine Labouré following a vision of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Many Catholic Christians around the world (and some non-Catholics) wear the Miraculous Medal, which they believe will bring them special graces through the intercession of Mary if worn with faith and devotion at the hour of death. It is often worn together with the Brown Scapular. Such items of devotion are not charms and should not be construed as being either “magical” or superstitious (two conditions which are contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church) but serve as constant physical reminders of devotion. Saint Catherine Labouré stated that on the night of July 18, 1830, she awoke upon hearing a voice of a child calling her to the sisters' chapel (located in the Rue du Bac, Paris), where she heard the Blessed Virgin Mary say to her, “God wishes to charge you with a mission. You will be contradicted, but do not fear; you will have the grace to do what is necessary. Tell your spiritual director all that passes within you. Times are evil in France and in the world.” On November 27, 1830, Catherine reported that the Blessed Mother returned during evening meditations. She displayed herself inside an oval frame, standing upon a globe, wearing many rings of different colors, most of which shone rays of light over the globe. Around the margin of the frame appeared the words Ô Marie, conçue sans péché, priez pour nous qui avons recours à vous (in English, O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee).
