Mercyhurst College has seen fantastic growth since it all began in 1926, but it still has a long way to go. One dramatic deficiency can be summed up by a cross section of the Mercyhurst student body. Mercyhurst represents 38 states and nearly 20 countries, students from across the country and across the ocean, but Katie McAdams/Photo editor what does the college see in terms of the Grace Paley infl uence of American minorities? Regardless of how many students By Chelsea Boothe Contributing writer come from Poland, Ireland or Honduras, Mercyhurst is still a school that comes off as dramatically white.
