Director, Non - Formal Education, Vaniyambadi Muslim Educational Society, delivered the

The Video was uploaded in the You Tube on 24 July 2019. This video is an attempt of the department to popularize the Local History of Vaniyambadi among the people of Vaniyambadi and thereby create a social awareness.

(2) The department organised the History Association Inaugural Function for the Academic Year

2019-2010 on 16. 07. 2019. Dr. Major Syed Shahabuddeen delivered the Chief Guest address on the topic “Role of Fakirs in the Freedom Struggle”. The video was again an attempt to popularize local history as it focuses on Mutiny of 1806.

(3) The Department in collaboration with Deccan History Society organised a one day National

Seminar on “Freedom Movement in ”, on 09th January, 2020. The significance of this seminar was the fact that the family members of the freedom fighters participated in this seminar and spoke on the participation of their elders in the freedom Movement.
