We set up meetings with the young people in the village to further open up space to share about re-starting up the youth club and ideas for trips and activities as well as sharing memories of the village. For the Farewell Party at the Village Hall on Friday 22nd August Anyone who has old photos of Enford and would be prepared to lend them for the evening, could they please contact Sarah Campbell on 670414. We will take great care of them. Thank you Sarah Campbell CAN YOU HELP? Dear All, I have recently moved into 1 Littlecott on the A342 just before the end of the village and am making an enquiry concerning the land between my back garden (and the bridleway that runs along the back fence of my property, 3 Horseshoes and Millwyn before returning to the road) and the houses on Water Lane. It is planted with maple trees and others, but as far as I know is not used except by kids on their bikes. According to the Land Registry website the land is not registered and so I was wondering if anyone locally knows who owns this section of land. Please contact me at the above address if you are the owner or know who’s land it is. Many thanks for your help with this. Cheers Sue Block A RESPONSE TO LAST MONTH’S HIGHWAY NEWS I do not have Stan Bagwell's email, but note his comments re traffic calming for the C32. We have been 'down this road' before and the police suggest that it is not advisable to put in bumps for all the obvious reasons and that the most effective way to slow traffic is leaving cars parked on the road. However, they may have more up to date ideas and we would welcome people driving at no more than 30 mph. rather than using it as a racetrack!
