#GACL19 "After four and a half years as the outsider in the belly of the beast, let me tell you: Washington could learn a lot from Georgia. Georgia has been named the best state in the country in which to do business for six straight years. That did not happen by accident. We have a tax structure that encourages capital investment, a regulatory environment that allows for innovation and risk- taking, and a state government that funds its operation on time."

#GACL19 "We have had Georgia on our mind, and I know the Georgia Congressional Delegation and multiple Governors have worked very hard over the years to channel a deepened accommodation for transportation. In addition, the Department is also helping foster a climate of growth by enabling the exciting wave of innovation sweeping through transportation. Innovations, in transportation and other arenas, is still driving growth and gives us hope for a better future."
