Congregation Or Chadash Book Club The next meeting of the Congregation Or Chadash Book Club is Friday, September 10 at noon and will be a Zoom meeting. Zoom meetings will have a noon start time. When we return to restaurant meetings, they will start at 1:00pm.

OR CHADASH FOCUS 9 Elul, Tishrei, Cheshvan 5781-5782 September/October 2021 OC Walking Club For the last few months, several Or Chadash members have been getting together and walking 5Ks to benefit causes near and dear to our hearts. ALL ARE WELCOME! Is there a cause you would like to benefit by participating in a virtual 5K? Let us know and we can add that to our list! Thus far we have walked to promote Autism Understanding and Awareness, Fighting Hunger, Pride, and Protecting Our Oceans. Every month, we try to find a cause that deserves attention and support. As you know, we have many options.

We all know exercise is an important part of staying healthy. Walking a 5K is a great way to get exercise, socialize with our friends, and benefit a cause. Typically, we walk around the pond at the Rio Shopping Center, but there are other options if we choose. We can meet at Black Hill Park, or we can find a walking trail. Whatever and wherever we choose …. we can simply meet up somewhere and spend some time enjoying the fresh air! And we can do some good for others at the same time! It’s Win-Win!
