Strategy Research at Cass is undertaken by a high profile group that includes established researchers: Charles Baden-Fuller (Coordinator), Joseph Lampel, Igor Filatochev (Associate Dean for Research). Gianvito Lanzolla, Vangelis Souitaris, as well as emerging scholars: Stefania Zerbinati, Hans Frankort, Santi Furnari and Dzidziso (Sam) Kamuriwo recently complemented by some high profile hires that include and some more recent senior hires that include: Scott Shane, Paula Jarzabkowski, Davide Ravasi, Stefan Haefliger, Elena Novelli. The group runs international workshops and is associated with many international research initiatives at conferences and journals (including Science, Journal of Management Studies and Long Range Planning). The group has close links and frequent visitor-collaborators with: Robert Grant (Bocconi University), Simone Ferriani (Bologna); Paul Nightingale (SPRU-Sussex); Vincent Mangematin (Grenoble); Jamal Shamsie (Michigan), and Fernando Suarez (Boston University). The group has published in all the major journals, and has recently completed several major research projects totalling more than £1 million in Research Grants (mainly EPSRC & EU), and has several post-doctoral research fellows and doctoral students.
