Welcome to the second edition of the On behalf of the Children’s Services Children’s Services Bulletin. We Executive Group. are using the general term of “Children’s Services” to refer to all involved across the range of services in Glasgow that work with children, young people, their families and carers. This includes the voluntary sector, independent and public services, plus anyone with an interest in Glasgow’s Children’s Services.

In the February edition, we referred to a range of work that is taking place to Ronnie O’Connor, Executive Director, improve children’s services, gave some (Education, Training and Young People), background to this and gave an overview of Education Services, Glasgow City Council the main actions being taken forward.

This edition highlights: • The Improving Children’s Services Action Plan, • Work to establish Treatment Foster Care, • The development of the new Glasgow’s Children’s services Website/Directory, • Additional Support for Learning.
