Dear Member, Your public television stations have been busy this summer, starting with a revamping of our program guide. Beginning with this August issue, our programming guide will become a monthly publication and, next month, we’ll start with our new design. We’re excited and we hope you love it! Speaking of a busy summer, CET and ThinkTV just wrapped up our virtual, blended and in- person summer camps at the end of July. While all of these camps were available online, our educational services department also reached out to educators and helped them incorporate camp videos and activities into their in-person and blended camps; Head Start teachers received Ohio-approved training, curriculum materials and classroom supplies; and other teachers received free curriculum kits through Crayons to Classrooms. I’d encourage you to check out the next page of the magazine for all the details on this multi-platform, multi- department endeavor. As we continue to return to “normal” post-pandemic lives, our websites continue to offer information on COVID-19 and the COVID-19 vaccine. Under the Greater Than COVID sections of our websites, you can watch videos from local community leaders talking about the vaccine and explore other resources. Visit thinktv.org and cetconnect.org for more information. In August, CET and ThinkTV will host two virtual screening events – on August 19th we’ll debut our latest documentary Let Ohio Women Vote and, on August 26th, our virtual Fall Preview will showcase upcoming PBS programming coming your way this autumn. National programming highlights for August include In Their Own Words, Liza with a Z, Nature: Pandas – Born to be Wild and Wicked in Concert. Looking forward to September, the CET/ThinkTV Action Auction returns. All bidding will be online again this year and items will be shown on-air each evening from September 8 to 11, so get ready to bid high and bid often! Our services – educational summer camps for children, community healthcare information, local documentaries and PBS programming – are available for everyone because of your support. We thank you for making your public television stations the most widely-used non-profits in the region. My best to you,

Kitty Lensman President & CEO CET and ThinkTV
