EVENT OVERVIEW:
Fresh Business Expo is the leading trade event for all suppliers within the entire spectrum of the Fresh Produce Industry targeting trade visitors from Ukraine and other CIS Countries.
Guests at the opening ceremony of STATISTICS: the exhibition included: People’s Deputiy of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, President of UAC, Mr. Leonid Kozachenko; Director of ITA Kyiv, Mr. Alessandro Gerbino; President of «Company «City of Dreams» Ltd., Mrs. Irina Slobodyanyuk and Managing director of Nova Exhibitions, Mr. Kuno Jacobs.
One of the key success factors of the exhibition is the conference “Fruits & Vegetables of Ukraine”, which is organized by Fruit Inform within the framework of the exhibition. The conference is the ideal meeting place for leading growers, traders, supermarket chains, importers, exporters, processors as well as input and equipment suppliers. The last day of the event is dedicated to the successful trade forum in which more than 30 supermarkets and key importers participate.
During the three days of the exhibition 2.238 visitors made their way to the exhibition to source new products, make new contacts, obtain market information.
Kuno Jacobs, the international organiser states: “Even though the times were difficult last year we managed to organise a very successful 2015 edition with an exhibitor satisfaction of 84%. Basically all companies that have participated with us last year will re-book for the 2016 edition, on top of that we see a lot of interest among new companies because of the changing market situation. These are the main factors for the expected growth in 2016.”
Apart from Ukraine the following countries were represented at the exhibition: Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Sweden and The Netherlands.
Fresh Business Expo 2016 is scheduled for 29 November - 1 December and will once again take place in the International Exhibition Centre (IEC).
