Notes: This award-winning park is a gem with 42 acres of land including lakes, wildflowers,
trails and play areas formed from former clay pits.

Directions: From the car park (1) accessed off Marine Drive, walk towards the lake but just before the lake take the path to the right. Follow the main path with the lake on your left until you come to a signpost (2).
Follow the sign for Brue Footpath (turn right) and continue on this path until you reach the bank of the River Brue (3). Across the channel is Hinkley Point Power Station with the Quantock Hills and Exmoor in the distance.
Turn left and follow The England Coast Path. Continue on this path keeping the River Brue on your right until you reach a tarmac drive (4). Cross the road with care to go back into Apex Park. Follow the path around to the right until you come to a T-junction (5) then turn left onto the cycle path.
After 200 yards, you will come to another junction (6) where you can either continue straight ahead on the cycle path back to the car park or turn left and follow the Lakeside Circular Walk and take the path back to the car park.
Facilities: There are public toilets in the car park and a mobile café.
