Dongle Ezcast Manuale D'uso Ref. 441276 IT Dongle EZcast Manuale d’uso HDMI e HDMI High-Definition Multimedia Interface e il logo HDMI sono marchi o marchi registrati di HDMI Licensing LLC negli Stati Uniti e in altri paesi LEGGERE CON ATTENZIONE Secondo la norma EN 62368-1, prestare attenzione alle seguenti indicazioni di sicurezza: non collocare il dispositivo sopra o in prossimità di altri apparecchiature. Lasciare un certo spazio libero attorno al dispositivo quando è connesso alla TV. Il surriscaldamento infatti potrebbe danneggiare i componenti. L’apparecchio non deve essere esposto a gocce o spruzzi d’acqua. Tenere inoltre lontano da qualunque oggetto pieno di liquidi, come ad esempio vasi o bicchieri. Durante i temporali, disconnettere il dispositivo dalla TV. Per pulire il Dongle EZcast, non utilizzare solventi o detergenti. Utilizzare un panno asciutto o leggermente inumidito con acqua per rimuovere la polvere. Alcune funzioni presenti nell’apparecchio, ma non descritte in questa guida non sono garantite. Anche certe funzioni considerate come non essenziali sono state omesse volontariamente in questo documento. 1 – Descrizione Il dongle HDMI EZcast è un apparecchio in grado di riprodurre sullo schermo del televisore i contenuti audio-video disponibili su uno smartphone, tablet o laptop dotato di connessione Wi-Fi. È compatibile con la maggior parte dei dispositivi Android, Apple e Windows. Questo manuale è una versione breve del manuale completo disponibile sul sito www.metronic.com. Il dispositivo offre due modalità di visualizzazione: modalità trasmissione e modalità specchio (a seconda della compatibilità del dispositivo con il modello di smartphone). In modalità trasmissione (EZcast), il televisore è usato come schermo (per suono e immagini). In questa modalità, le foto e i video presenti sullo smartphone, vengono visualizzati solo sullo schermo della TV. In modalità specchio (Mirroring), lo schermo dello smartphone viene duplicato sul televisore. Questa modalità ha il vantaggio di funzionare con tutte le altre applicazioni, non solo con i contenuti audio-video. NOTA: non tutti i modelli di smartphone sono compatibili con la modalità Mirroring. 2 – Installazione dell’apparecchio e dell’applicazione EZcast • Collegare il connettore micro-USB maschio del cavo al connettore micro-USB femmina del Dongle EZcast. • Collegare il connettore USB maschio del cavo alla presa USB posta sulla TV (vedere pannello posteriore o laterale della TV). • Tramite il connettore HDMI, collegare la Dongle EZ cast alla presa HDMI della TV (vedere pannello posteriore o laterale della TV). Connettore USB Ricevitore Wi-Fi WiFi Connettore Connettore HDMI micro USB • Accendere la TV e selezionare l’ingresso HDMI. Comparirà la seguente schermata, per iniziare la connessione del proprio smartphone con l’apparecchio. Naturalmente non essendo inizialmente provvisti dell’applicazione EZCast non sarà possibile operare questa connessione. Con il proprio smartphone scaricare l’applicazione EZcast . Alternativamente, se provvisti di scanner per codice QR, scannerizzare il codice QR dell’applicazione presente nella schermata in alto. Sarete così reindirizzati verso il link che vi consentirà di scaricare l’applicazione EZ cast. • Una volta scaricata procedere con l’installazione senza aprire l’applicazione. • Andare nel menu Impostazioni dello smartphone. • Selezionare l’opzione Wi-Fi e abilitarla. • Nell’elenco delle reti disponibili apparirà Visnsmart-XXXXXXXX oppure METRONIC - XXXXXXXX. Selezionare la rete e connettersi. Se necessario, inserire SSID e password visualizzati sullo schermo della TV. Quando la connessione sarà stata attivata si visualizzerà il simbolo in alto a destra sullo schermo TV. • Aprire l’applicazione “EZCast” sullo smartphone. Dopo la schermata di benvenuto, verrà visualizzata la schermata principale: L’icona indica che lo smartphone è connesso alla chiavetta mediante la rete Visnmart o Metronic. Cliccarci sopra per maggiori informazioni sulla connessione oppure per operare nuovamente la connessione con la rete (Vinsmart o Metronic) in caso di disconnessione accidentale. Nota: • L’opzione EZ Channel ( ) può essere utilizzata solo dopo la connessione dell’apparecchio ad internet (vedere capitolo 3 – Collegamento Wi-Fi con il Modem/Router e mirroring). Per maggiori informazioni, vedere inoltre il manuale completo disponibile sul sito www.metronic.com • L’opzione EZ Cast Screen ( ) non è supportata da questo modello. Lasciare le impostazioni come da default. • Cliccare sull’icona e poi su Settings per aprire il menu principale EZCast. Sullo schermo TV e su quello dello smartphone si visualizzeranno le opzioni seguenti: Schermo TV Schermo Smartphone : per tornare al menu principale : per abilitare la tastiera sullo smartphone (necessario ad esempio per introdurre la password o altri valori). : tasti direzionali. Per selezionare un sottomenu / opzione differente. : per convalidare una scelta. : per uscire da un sottomenu. NOTA: queste funzioni possono essere non disponibili su alcuni modelli di smartphone. Metronic si riserva di apportare variazioni alla versione software installata al fine di migliorare le performance del dongle EZ Cast, con conseguente modifica delle funzionalità del dispositivo, rispetto a quanto descritto sul manuale. 3 - Connessione Wi-Fi con il modem/router Ora è possibile utilizzare l’applicazione EZCast per la condivisione di musica, foto, video ed applicazioni. Per il collegamento ad Internet, la navigazione e l’accesso ai social network è necessario attivare una connessione dati tramite il router domestico oppure utilizzando il Tethering dello smartphone, come da procedura qui di seguito: • Selezionare l’opzione Internet operando su e confermare con OK. • Appare la schermata seguente, l’elenco delle reti WiFi disponibili sotto forma di lista. • Selezionare la rete domestica e cliccare su OK, quindi inserire la password del router/modem e se necessario la SSID. Verrà così stabilita la connessione WiFi tra il router/modem e il dongle EZCast (il simbolo comparirà in alto a destra sullo schermo della TV). • Se non si dispone di un modem/router domestico, è possibile configurare il vostro smartphone come router (Tethering) per utilizzare Internet del Dongle EZCast. Per fare ciò, cliccare sul tasto return per uscire dal menu. Quindi cliccare su e poi sull’icona 3G4G. Seguire le istruzioni visualizzate. Ad un certo punto, compariranno i dettagli sulla rete dello smartphone da abilitare (es. Android AP e password: xxxxxxxx). Toccare su per abilitare la connessione a questa rete. Quando la connessione sarà attiva si visualizzerà l’icona in alto a destra sullo schermo della TV. Inoltre, il simbolo tethering comparirà sullo schermo del vostro smartphone e la rete abilitata (es. AndroidAP) comparirà nell’elenco delle reti WiFi disponibili (schermo TV). Nella schermata successiva cliccare sull’icona oppure sul tasto destro dello smartphone per uscire. • Alternativamente, se l’icona 3G4G non è disponibile, chiudere l’applicazione EZCast, andare nelle impostazioni del vostro smartphone, selezionare l’opzione Tethering and Mobile hotspot o simile ed attivarla (consultare il manuale del vostro smartphone). Ora riaprire l’applicazione EZCast, andare in Settings - Internet e selezionare la rete relativa al vostro smartphone (es. AndroidAP). Immettere password e SSID quindi confermare per abilitare la connessione tra lo smartphone e il Dongle EZcast. • Successivamente, tramite i tasti selezionare l’opzione Default Mode e selezionare la modalità EZCast (per riprodurre i file multimediali presenti sullo smartphone e navigare in Internet) tramite i tasti . Toccare su OK per salvare e poi su per tornare al menu principale. • E’ possibile navigare in Internet cliccando sull’icona WEB . I contenuti saranno visibili sullo schermo della TV. Funzione di mirroring Il dongle METRONIC EZcast è dotato anche della funzione di Mirroring (utilizzabile solo su smartphone abilitati). Questa funzionalità permette l’esatta riproduzione dello schermo dello smartphone (e quindi di qualsiasi applicazione installata) sulla TV. Cliccare su e poi sull’opzione Mirror Off all’interno del menu dell’applicazione EZCast (in alternativa, cliccare sull’icona ). Un banner comparirà sullo schermo. Cliccare su Avvia adesso/Start now per abilitare la funzione di Mirroring ( Mirror On). A questo punto l’intero schermo dello smartphone verrà riprodotto sul vostro TV. Sullo smartphone si visualizzeranno inoltre le icone e di Screen casting, indicanti appunto che la funzione di mirroring è attiva. Per disabilitare questa funzione, cliccare sull’icona fino a visualizzare l’icona (Mirror Off). 4 - Caratteristiche Tecniche • CPU: 1GHz • Memoria RAM: 128Mb • Memoria Flash: 128Mb • Compatibile con la maggior parte dei tablet o smartphone con sistemi operativi Android, IOs, Windows Phone • Funzioni: EZCast / EZAir / Mirroring. • Ezcast: Supporta Android EZCast APP (spazio/video/audio/foto/file/macchina fotografica e browser Web sullo schermo del televisore). • Sistema operativo: Linux • WiFi 802.11b/g/n 150Mbps a 2,4 GHz • Connettività: 1 porta HDMI 1.3 • Alimentazione: tramite la porta USB del TV (cavo incluso). 5 – Garanzia e servizi Il prodotto è coperto dalla garanzia legale del venditore di 24 mesi per difetti di conformità prevista dagli articoli 128 e ss. del D.Lgs. n. 206/2005 (Codice del Consumo).
