On Wednesday April 10th, 2019 during the “holly week” of cycling and right in-between the Tour of Flanders and Paris Roubaix the oldest Flemish cycling race, the 107th Scheldeprijs will be held.

Flanders Classics and the Schotense Cycling Association chose for a drastic change in 2018: the Scheldeprijs moved across the border and moved its’ start to Terneuzen in the state of Zeeland, the Netherlands.

This year’s edition will again start in Terneuzen and the ever present wind in this part of The Netherlands will guarantee another spectacular race. The teams will have to adopt their tactics and be able to survive the expected echelons if they want to be in a winning position when they reach the local laps in Schoten.
