Holiday Time in ! December 6 - 10, 2019 Friday, December 6 (Dinner) This morning we board our flight bound for the “Big Apple” - New York City! Upon arrival we’ll check into the Crowne Plaza for four nights. Located right in the pulsating heart ofTimes Square and New York City’s historic Theater District, all of the excitement of the city is right at your doorstep! After an incredible Italian, family-style feast at Carmine’s we’ll pose for a souvenir group photo taken among the scintillating lights of Times Square. The rest of the evening is free for you to explore Times Square or relax at the hotel after your travels.

Saturday, December 7 (Dinner) A local guide will join us on a tour of lower . We’ll see many celebrated sites including Times Square, the Garment District, Madison Square Garden, the , Chelsea, Greenwich Village, Soho, Tribeca, Wall Street, and Chinatown. You’ll have free time to enjoy lunch at one of the delis near the hotel before we take our seats for an exciting matinee! We’ll enjoy dinner together at the Heartland Brewing Company and then the evening is free for you to join the excitement of Times Square, see another Broadway show or visit Winter Village, a European inspired open-air market with more than 100 booths hosting artisans from New York City and around the world. Stroll through the kiosks to find unique gifts and tasty snacks or enjoy a hot chocolate as you watch the ice skaters.

Sunday, December 8 (Brunch) Depart this morning on a guided tour of mid-town and the upper east and west sides of Manhattan including , Lincoln Center, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Harlem, , Museum Mile, , , St. Patrick’s Cathedral, , and the Diamond District. Then we’re in for a special treat as we head to The View – a revolving restaurant at the top of the Marriott Marquis with wonderful 360° views of Manhattan from 48 floors up– for an elaborate Sunday Brunch complete with mimosas. Enjoy panoramic vistas as you dine on an incredible assortment of gourmet food items. We’ll see another delightful Broadway show this afternoon. Tonight is yours to experience the thrill of The City that Never Sleeps! Revel in the lights and activity of Times Square or venture over to Rockefeller Plaza to see the beautiful Christmas tree, the ice skaters and all the holiday decorations.

Monday, December 9 (Dinner) This morning we’ll visit the poignant 9/11 Memorial and Museum. The beautiful and touching memorial is a tribute to the past and a place of hope for the future. At the museum you’ll relive the events of 9/11 through interactive technology, archives, narratives and a collection of artifacts. This afternoon you’ll have your choice of taking an optional ferry ride past the Statue of Liberty to Ellis Island (additional fee applies), or returning to the hotel for a free afternoon to shop, visit a museum or relax. After a wonderful dinner together at the upscaleRedeye Grill we’ll take our seats at for a performance of their annual Christmas Spectacular featuring the high-kicking precision of the world-famous Rockettes! Since its debut on December 21, 1933, more than 75 million people have gotten into the yuletide spirit by taking part in this wonderful New York holiday tradition. With iconic dance numbers like the “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” ice skaters swirling across the stage, a living Nativity and more, it’s the best of the season in one spectacular experience.

Tuesday, December 10 (Lunch) After a leisurely morning we board the coach for aSlice of Brooklyn tour. Experience pizza and Brooklyn from one end to the other. We’ll skip the lines at Grimaldi’s under the Brooklyn Bridge for their Neapolitan-style pizza and at L&B Spumoni Gardens in Bensonhurst for their Sicilian-style pizza. This multimedia tour highlights Brooklyn’s famous neighborhoods, parks, landmarks and famous movie locations. We’ll see Coney Island, the million dollar homes along scenic Shore Road in Bay Ridge and everything in between! Then we’re off to the airport for our flight home. We’ll be filled with the holiday spirit from the wonderful time we spent in fabulous New York City!
