A yeast infection results from an overgrowth of yeast (a type of fungus) anywhere in the body, especially in the gut. Candidiasis is by far the most common type of yeast infection. There are more than 20 species of Candida, the most common being Candida albicans. These fungi live on all surfaces and, under certain conditions; they can become so numerous they cause infections, particularly in warm and moist areas of the body. Examples of such infections are vaginal yeast infections, thrush (infection of tissues of the oral cavity), skin and diaper rash, and nail bed infections. We all have millions of bacteria living in our gut at all times. Some are considered good bacteria while others are considered bad and can cause a wide variety of health conditions. In a healthy body, the good bacteria keep the bad bacteria in check so there is a nice even balance. When someone develops Candida overgrowth the balance has become upset and the bad bacteria have taken control. Symptoms of Candida (yeast overgrowth) Symptoms are many and varied, and can mimic other health conditions.

The World Health Organization is Taking Cash Handouts from Junk Food Giants By Vigilant Citizen October 23, 2012 The World Health Organization (WHO) is the United Nationʼs “public health” arm and has 194 member states. While its official mission is “the attainment by all people of the highest possible level of health“, it is also clear that it works according to a specific agenda, one that laid out by the world elite and the organizations that are part of it. In the article entitled ‘Contagionʼ or How Disaster Movies “Educate” the Masses, weʼve seen how the WHO was involved in the promotion of mass vaccination campaigns following (bogus) disease scares, of civilian camps, of the bar-coding of individuals and so forth. More proof of the WHOʼs “elite bias” has been recently uncovered by a study: The organization has been taking hundreds of thousands of dollars from the worldʼs biggest pushers of unhealthy foods such as Coca-Cola, Nestlé and Unilever. It is relying on these companies for advice on how to fight obesity..é which is the equivalent of asking a drug dealer for advice on how stay off drugs and NOT buy his product. Coca-Cola, Nestlé and Unilever are not simply “food companies, they are gigantic conglomerates that produce and distribute an enormous proportion of processed foods across the world. In the article entitled Irrational Consumerism (or The Few Companies Who Feed the World), I described how only a few mega-conglomerates own most of the worldʼs brands of processed foods. To refresh your memory here are some of the brands

  • MKTG 3003 Brand Critique Nespresso
MKTG 3003 Brand Critique Nespresso Executive Summary This report critically evaluates the management of Nestle’s premium portioned coffee brand, Nespresso, on the basis of consumer based brand equity. To do this a brand overview is provided followed by an analysis of brand equity and marketing program and the provision of recommendations to combat identified threats to brand equity. After examining the basic segmentation variables, the report defines Nespresso’s target market as high income frequent coffee drinkers who seek quality and convenience. Further evaluation of Nespresso’s marketing program identifies that the most significant elements of the marketing mix relate to the design of the coffee system; the Nespresso Club services; a premium pricing strategy; and celebrity endorsement; and an exclusive distribution strategy. The report identifies the sources of Nespresso’s brand equity as brand awareness and image, which are reinforced through the repetition of previously identified brand elements. Threats to these sources of brand equity include Nescafe’s brand extension into portioned coffee and increased competition. Consequently, the report recommends that the future management of the brand focuses on strengthening the brand’s existing position 1 Table of Contents 1.
