Shalini de Silva and Sri Lanka Davis Cup player Sankha Atukorale emerged victorious in Women’s Open and Men’s Open singles titles respectively at the inaugural Jetwing Open Tennis Tournament (‘C’ Grade) which ended at the SLTA Tennis Centre in Negombo on Sunday (3). De Silva beat Thavindra Ekanayake 4- 6, 6-2, 10-5 in Sunday final before Atukorale ousted another Sri Lanka Davis Cup team member this year, Guyanga Weerasekera, 6-7 (6), 6-2, 10-1. Atukorale partnered Weerasekera to beat the pair of Artha Hewacottege and Ashan Dep to clinch the Men’s Open Doubles title.
