This new column is intended to be ongoing and will be authored by the three Zuhrah Nobles who are cur- rently serving on the Board of Governors, and will be a vehicle in which we can communicate news and updated information to the Nobility. We will also have a section in which we will answer questions submitted by the Nobility. The Board of Governors meets at the Hospital on the third Friday of the month. It is here where the various committees hear reports and updates from the various Hospital staff and their committees. We hear about patient recruitment activities, fund raising activities as well as overall finan- cial reports from the Hospital staff. The Public Relations team just com- pleted a very successful media blitz. This included TV ads and sponsorships, radio ads, PSAs, website and social media. The immediate result of this was a large bump in the donations to the Hospital, a significant increase in public awareness, all of which leads to an increase in patient referrals and eventually new patients. We were recently approved to pur- chase a new X-Ray system. This system is being referred to as the EOS system. While this system is expensive,it is a huge benefit to our kids. The EOS X-Ray sys- tem emits virtually no radiation.
