Implementation Status Overview Progress of civil works for the 3 lots of rehabilitation of Sveneti Ruisi continued to improve. Works on all three lots have reached an advanced stage with the entire sections for Lot 1 and Lot 3 contracts opened to traffic in November 2011. The Liakhvi River Bridge experienced construction issues and completion is delayed until about August-September 2012.
Public Disclosure Copy Environmental Compliance of the project has improved. The October 2011 mission noted that construction waste has to be removed from the river bed at the Liakhvi River Bridge construction site. This was done prior to the April mission.
