Canon Katalog over Canon-samlingen til Thor Andresen Canon R-serie Canon Flex Mai 1959 The top-class 35mm camera market gradually shifted from rangefinder cameras to single-lens reflex cameras. The major reason was that SLRs could handle close-ups, photomicrography, duplication work, and other applications without being constrained by the limits of rangefinder camera lenses. When Canon introduced the Canonflex, its first SLR, there were already eight SLR models on the market. The Canonflex used a high-quality, breechlock lens mount. The lens flange ring was turned to lock the lens onto the camera flange's bayonet lugs. The lens flange and camera flange did not rub against each other like today's lens mounts.The camera used Super-Canomatic lenses which had a fast, fully- automatic diaphragm. A 130-degree winding trigger at the camera bottom enabled quick film advance. An external selenium exposure meter could also be attached. Canon R-serie Canon Flex RP September 1960 To cut costs, the camera had a fixed, eye-level pentaprism viewfinder. This was the economy or "Populaire" version of the Canonflex. The self-timer was operated by a simple lever, and the pentaprism cover was part of the single-piece top cover. Other features and performance were the same as the original Canonflex. Canon R-serie Canon Flex R2000 September 1960 Deluxe version of the Canonflex. With a top shutter speed of 1/2000 sec., the fastest ever for any camera, the R2000 was a high-performance 35mm SLR. Other than that, it was the same as the original Canonflex. -

Even subtle displacements are mostly overlooked or ignored, although they can lead to large geo-rectification errors. This paper describes a simple and efficient method to stabilize an either continuous or sub-sampled image sequence based on feature matching and sub-pixel cross-correlation techniques. The method requires the presence and identification of different land-sub-image regions containing static recognizable features, such as corners or salient points, referred to as keypoints. A Canny edge detector (CED) is used to locate and extract the boundaries of the features. Keypoints are matched against themselves after computing their two-dimensional displacement with respect to a reference frame. Pairs of keypoints are subsequently used as control points to fit a geometric transformation in order to align the whole frame with the reference image. The stabilization method is applied to five years of daily images collected from a three-camera permanent video system located at Anglet Beach in southwestern France. -

Thorpe is National Marketing Executive for Broadcast & Communications, Canon USA Inc. He joined Canon U.S.A.’s Broadcast and Communications division in 2004, working with with networks, broadcasters, mobile production companies, program producers, ad agencies, and filmmakers. Before Canon, Larry spent more than 20 years at Sony Electronic, begining 1982. He worked for RCA’s Broadcast Division from 1966 to 1982, where he developed a range of color television cameras and telecine products. In 1981, Thorpe won the David Sarnoff Award for his innovation in developing the first automatic color studio camera. From 1961 to 1966, Thorpe worked in the Designs Dept. of the BBC in London, England, where he participated in the development of a range of color television studio products. Larry has written more than 70 technical articles. He is a lively and wonderfully articulate speaker, in great demand at major industry events. These disturbances can come as jolts when a camera is handheld or shoulder mounted, from vibrations when tripod-mounted on an unstable platform or in windblown environments, or as higher vibration frequencies when operating from vehicles, boats, and aircraft. In this paper, we propose a reverse cell phone lens-based miniature microscope with a configurable magnification ratio. By switching the objectives of three camera lens and applying the digital zooming function of the cell phone, a cell phone microscope is built with the continuously configurable magnification ratio be- tween 0.8×–11.5×. At the same time, the miniature microscope can capture high-quality microscopic images with a maximum resolution of up to 575 lp/mm and a maximum field of view (FOV) of up to 7213 × 5443 µm. Furthermore, by moving the tube lens module of the microscope out of the cell phone body, the built miniature microscope is as compact as a <20 mm side length cube, improving operational experience profoundly. The proposed scheme marks a big step forward in terms of the imaging performance and user operational convenience for cell phone microscopes.
