Little France Park Consultation

A draft management plan for Little France Park has been prepared by the City of Edinburgh Council, Parks and Greenspace site officer with input from Edinburgh Living Landscape partners.

The management plan has been designed to last for 10 years from 2020 to 2030, with a mid-term review in year 5. It helps explain the value of the site as a parkland and provide direction over its future management.

It is important to give your feedback through the a consultation survey which closes on 1st May.

Healthy Lifetyle Activities

To help us stay in communication with the people we have been working with, we have developed a programme of online

sessions.

Our virtual coffee meet ups through Zoom have been really popular, with people feeling much more comfortable and at ease on video, in their homes.

Our online fitness has been hugely popular which is reaching high numbers each time with our most popular post reaching 4,500 people.

The cooking posts have also been well received, with more people willing to share photos and recipes of their own.

We have found that everyone is enjoy engaging through social media, people love the opportunity to stay in touch with you, whatever the reason, and have received lovely feedback too. We have called some of the people we can’t reach through Facebook and Zoom. We have emailed out information to people on our mailing list with fitness programmes and recipe cards.

All live workouts will be saved in our videos on our page!
