But as of today that situation has changed, and so I feel the need to add two points to this document. At the start of the anime season in April of 2013, three all-new robot anime series debuted. These were Production I.G.'s “Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet," Sunrise's “Valvrave the Liberator," and Dogakobo and Orange's “Majestic Prince of the Galactic Fleet." Each was broadcast in a late-night timeslot and succeeded in building fanbases. The second new development is the debut of the director Guillermo Del Toro's film “Pacific Rim," which was released in Japan on August 9, 2013. The plot involves humanity using giant robots controlled by human pilots to defend Earth’s cities from gigantic “kaiju.” At the end of the credits, the director dedicates the film to the memory of “monster masters” Ishiro Honda (who oversaw many of the “Godzilla” films) and Ray Harryhausen (who pioneered stop-motion animation techniques.) The film clearly took a great deal of inspiration from Japanese robot anime shows.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Sednit also known as APT28, Sofacy, Strontium and Fancy Bear – has been operating since at least 2004, and has made headlines frequently in the past years: it is believed to be behind major, high profile attacks . For instance, several security companies [1] as well as the US Department of Justice [2] named the group as being responsible for the Democratic National Committee (DNC) hack just before the US 2016 elections . The group is also presumed to be behind the hacking of global television network TV5Monde [3], the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) email leak [4] and many others . Its targets are many and the group has a diversified set of malware in its toolbox several of which we have documented previously [5], but this white paper details the first time this group is known to have used a UEFI rootkit .

BRAVE ROBOTICS Inc. 4-meter Tall Ridable Transforming Humanoid Robot “J-deite RIDE” Unveiled ~ Development of transforming robots for rides at amusement parks also launched~ J-deite Ride LLP, Asratec Corp. (“Asratec”, a robot software company of the SoftBank Group), Sansei Technologies, Inc. (“Sanesi”), and BRAVE ROBOTICS Inc. (“BRAVE ROBOTICS”) anno unced a prototype of the ridable transforming humanoid robot “J-deite RIDE”. J-deite RIDE is a 4-meter tall robot that can transform from a bipedal walking humanoid form (robot mode) to a wheel-driven form (vehicle mode) and back. Up to two people can ride the robot and is operable from the driver’s seat. It can also be operated by remote-control via wireless network. BRAVE ROBOTICS designed and developed the hardware, including the unique transforming mechanism, and Asratec’s robot control system “V-Sido” performs the robot motions such as the transformation, bipedal walking, wheel driving and more. Mechanical designer Kunio Okawara cooperated in the robot design. J-deite RIDE will be showcased at “GoldenWeek DOKIDOKI Festa All Working Cars Assemble!”, which will be held from April 28 to May 6, 2018 (shown only on May 5). It is also planned for exhibition at one of the biggest attraction trade shows in the world “IAAPA Attractions Expo 2018”, which will be held November in Florida, USA. Sansei will seek to develop and commercialize transforming robot type amusement rides for amusement parks, such as “transforming go-karts” or “transforming demonstrations at parades”, with use of the transforming technology of J-deite RIDE.

Your teacher might let you color your racer at this time. 2. Follow the student construction tips from the Balloon Car Explore-A-Pak Teacher’s Guide to assemble your fold-up racer. 3. You will test several different variables to determine how to make your cars go the fastest. Each group will need a ramp. 4. First, make sure the axles on your car are straight. To do this, place your completed car at the top of the ramp and let it go down on its own. (You will not need to inflate the balloon for this.) If the car rolls straight, the axle is aligned.

Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Dergisi, Cilt 25, Sayı 1, 2016, Sayfa 43-58 Medyada Şiddet; Televizyon Çizgi Diziler Üzerine Bir İnceleme*1 Nüket Elpeze Ergeç** Murat Ertan Doğan*** Özet İzleyici araştırmaları televizyon yayın içeriklerinin, izleyiciler üzerinde değer sistemlerinin oluşumunda ve davranışların biçimlenmesinde güçlü bir etkiye sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. Şiddetin sadece haber, dizi ve magazin programlarının yanında, çocuk kanallarında da önemli boyutta olduğu gözlemlenmektedir. Şiddetin öğrenilen bir davranış olduğuna vurgu yapan Riches (1989), şiddet eylemi sosyal gerçekliği pratik anlamda dönüştürmeyi hedefleyen ve bunu yaparken de içinde bulunduğu sosyalliğin düşünsel durumunu sergileyen bir yapıya sahip olduğunu belirtmektedir. Şiddetin kişiler üzerinde bir tepkisizlik yarattığı, giderek şiddetin problemleri çözmede bir yol olarak kabul edildiği, televizyonda izlenen şiddetin taklit edildiği ve televizyondaki karakterler ile şiddet gören arasında özdeşleşme kurulduğuna dair çok sayıda çalışma bulunmaktadır (Wilson vd, 2002; Kirsh, 2006). Bu çalışma, medya üzerinden çocuğun maruz kaldığı şiddete ilişkin yeniden düşünmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında Türkiye’de ulusal çapta yayın yapan özel bir çocuk televizyon kanalının bir haftalık yayın akışında yer alan 24 farklı çizgi dizideki şiddet öğesi incelenmiş ve bu öğeler sınıflandırılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda örneklem kapsamındaki dizileri izleyen çocukların, ortalama her 40 saniyede bir şiddet içeren eyleme maruz kaldığı bulgulanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular sonucunda çalışma, çocukların televizyon izlerken şiddetin etkilerinden korunma yollarının birçok farklı disiplinlerle işbirliği ile uzun soluklu çalışmalarla önlenebileceğini çözüm olarak sunmuştur.
