Ernest and Dr. Ruth Wyrick with Terrell City Councilman Charles Whitaker and honorees Patricia Harris, Delphia and Joseph Lett. The Southwestern Christian College Beautification program held their annual Valor Awards program last month in Terrell, Texas. Among the hon- orees were Dallas own Ernest and Dr Ruth Wyrick who were selected at the 2013 Man and Woman of Valor for their outstanding work in the church, community, for Southwestern. The City of Terrell declared Ernest and Ruth Wyrick Day while similar pre- sentations were made to the other recipients: Dr Bethel Smith Valor Award presented to Patricia Harris of Atlanta; and the Trailblazers of Valor pre- sented to Joseph and Delphia Lett of Sacramento, California.
