Honoring Cokie Roberts 2019 Gala & Records of Achievement Award Ceremony Honoring Cokie Roberts

On Wednesday, November 13, the National Archives Foundation will honor award-winning journalist and historian Cokie Roberts with our prestigious Records of Achievement Award for her commitment to chronicling the American story.

The Records of Achievement Award is the highest honor bestowed by the National Archives Foundation to an individual whose contributions have fostered a broader national awareness of history and heritage of the United States as exemplified in the National Archives’ records.

Over the course of her five decade career, Roberts has documented the stories of women practically invisible in U.S. history by authoring numerous best selling books and engaging in spirited discussions about our country today and its heritage. It is fitting that Roberts will receive this honor during the centennial anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment

Her work exemplifies the American spirit – one that is committed to working toward the great ideals upon which our country was founded. 2019 Gala & Records of Achievement Award Ceremony Honoring Cokie Roberts
