For the past 25 years, I have had the honor and privilege to serve the citizens of Hardee County as a law enforcement officer. During that time, I have gained the needed experience and knowledge to lead the Hardee County Sheriff’s Office into the future. I have dedicated my whole adult life to preparing for this opportunity to not only lead as the Sheriff of Hardee County, but to also not forget where I gained my experience from, to form a purposeful mission for the Hardee County Sheriff’s Office and the community as a whole. Hardee County is a great place to live and raise a family. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the men and women of the Hardee County Sheriff’s Office, the crime rate in Hardee County for 2018-2019 has decreased 6.3%. Along with the drop in reported crimes, our Agency has increased the clearance rates at a rate above the state average. I am proud to be a part of a team of professionals who are dedicated to keeping our community safe, and with your support, I can use my tools and experience gained over 25 years to continue the positive impact on our community.

In Flanders Fields by Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae December 8, 1915

In Flanders fields the poppies bow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields.
